philosophy

Listen; Think; Draw.
Designing is a creative and cognitive process formulated by the management of constraints. We do this through critical thinking, analysis and research to consider the specific nature of each project in terms of functionality, ergonomics, economics, cost and aesthetics. This core ethos enables us to advance the client brief into particular proposals to meet their specific requirements.
We use various techniques to explore and communicate our ideas. Architecture is a study in 3 dimensions and we use physical models from an early stage to best illustrate our design intent. Computer models allow us to further explore spatial complexities and innovative geometries and can ultimately be used in construction documentation when required.
Delivering a project, big or small, on time and on budget requires professional skill and control in order to direct contractual responsibilities, follow complex program timeframes and ensure efficient financial management.
All parties play a crucial role in achieving this.
Buildings are about people.
